Apple Event 2015 With Unveils iPhone 6S/6S Plus, iPad Pro, New Apple TV and Apple Watch OS2

Apple hosted a event in San Francisco to unveil its upcoming iGadgets including iPhone 6S/6S Plus, the new Apple TV, iPad Pro and Apple Watch OS2. Have a detailed reference at the great improvements that have taken place on those new phone, tablet, set-box and watches.

iPhone 6S/6S Plus

The new iPhone 6S and its larger cousin, the 6S Plus feature 12-megapixel cameras, sharper screens and a feature called 3D touch, which brings up different menus depending on how hard a user presses the screen.

The phones will also have the new A9 processor and faster fingerprint sensors and there are new charging docks to match the colors of the iPhones as well as the covers.

As for price, the phone will cost the same the previous version, $650 for iPhone 6S and $750 for iPhone 6S Plus. Both the two new phones will be available for pre-order on Sept.12 and hit stores on September 25.

iPad Pro

The new iPad Pro is bigger and faster than its previous iPad models. It is 12.9 inches with the same height as the iPad Air. The display screen is 5.6 million pixels, more than a 15-inch MacBook Pro with a Retina display. The new iPad Pro will be equipped with a new A9X 64-bit chip, which is 1.8 times faster than the previous iPad’s CPU.

As for media entertainment, Games and movies will look better on a big screen.

The company also makes its own stylus – Apple Pencil, which makes you feel like a true writing or drawing instrument.

The iPad Pro is mainly developed for business users, you can do Microsoft office work with Apple pencil, do some realtime edits with the Photoshop Fix offered by Adobe and show 3D interactive anatomy images for medical students and patients with the startup’s 3D medical app from 3D4Medical.

The iPad Pro starts at $799.

Apple TV

The new Apple TV will feature a third-party App Store, a new remote, Siri Controls and a completely overhauled operating system. The TV will run on tvOS, which is based on iOS and “built for the living room”.

The new remote features a glass touch, so that you can navigate the Apple TV with swipes or other gestures. The Bluetooth remote has volume controls for the TV and a built-in accelerator and gyroscope.

As for Siri controls, if you don’t know what to watch, you can use Siri to make movies or TV suggestions based on things like genre. The Siri can search across all apps, so you don’t have to jump between HBO Go and Netflix to find something specific.

The most important feature for the device is its opening up to third-party developers. So can use the device to play multiplayer games.

The device will start shipping in later October and cost $149 for the 32 GB version and $199 for 64 GB.

Apple Watch

The updated Apple Watch will be more fashionable with a wrap-around leather Hermes band, which will be available in October. The watch itself comes in gold and rose gold and there are new sports band options as well.

Apple Watch OS2

There will be few important watch apps added to the new Apple Watch. Facebook Messenger’s app will let you send text, audio and location messages. GoPro’s app acts as a viewfinder for your camera. iTranslate lets you speak a word and get a translation and AirStrip is a tool for medical professionals. It’s also adding transit directions to the included Maps app.
