M2TS not supported in Davinci Resolve

I just downloaded Davinci Resolve and I’m trying to familiarize myself with how it works. I'm unable to import .m2ts files into the media folder it only recognizes or sees .mov files. I just started reading the manual but does anyone know what I need to do?
