The default Android 4.4.2 OS that came with free 8GB Class 10 SD Card allows users to start customizing their device easily by installing Android apps (APK) through the build in APK installer. So people would like install VLC on their Open Hour Chameleon since it regarded as the top media player, support for DTS.

However, not all the video you have insert with a SD card can be play well on VLC installed on Open Hour Chameleon. Sometime it did crash, which is a shame, but a good start.

On media playback side, Open Hour Chameleon supports the latest H.265 video codec up to 3840x2160 resolution and allows users to enjoy DTS(Digital Theater Systems) sound.

So the video that can be play well on VLC installed on your desktop with DTS sound sometimes can't be play on VLC installed on Open Hour Chameleon or without DTS output.

In this case, you should make sure that the video with DTS sound you have transfered to the Open Hour Chameleon are encode with H.265 codec, if not, you need a Video converter to convert the video into H.265 codec, and make sure the audio was in 5.1 channel(common version of the DTS is a 5.1-channel system). Here Pavtube Video Converter for Windows is high recommended for you. With it you can reformat all of your video to the H.265 MP4,MKV with ease, and you can select the audio in 5.1 channel.

Apart from convert video or audio, you can use it to do some simple editing works, such as allowing you to instantly trim or crop your video according to your requirement. For further editing, you can select the NLEs(such as Premiere, Sony Vegas, Windows Movie Maker, etc) preset native format, then you can convert it to your required format at superior speed.
