Even small scratches or dusts would ruin the classic Avatar special edition and Start Wars, let alone the damages by repeated playback in the Blu-ray player. Is there a way to prevent BD/DVD collection from physical or personal damages? One feasible solution is to backup all your Blu-ray and DVD movies to computer drive, upload to e-library and then stream to any mobile device you own whenever you would like to enjoy movies at home or anywhere you are.

Part One: Backup Blu-ray and DVD collection to e-library

Step 1. Load source BD/DVD file

Launch the best Blu-ray/DVD ripping tool, and hit on the "Load Disc" button, and load source Blu-ray/DVD movie inserted in the disc driver beforehand. BDMagic also accepts BD BDMV folder, DVD VIDEO_TS folder, BD ISO, and DVD ISO/IFO as source file.

Step 2. Choose output format

Select the optimized profile for output. Tap on the "Format" bar, numbers of categories are show up. Choose from these profiles and get the preferred one as output format. Since H.264 MP4 could be the most acceptable file type for almost all mobile devices, you are recommended to choose "HD Video" > "H.264 HD Video(*.mp4)" for backing up BD/DVD to e-library.

Step 3. Customize profile presets (optional)

Free to adjust video and audio parameters in "Profile Settings" in order to achieve better movie enjoyment on different devices. You could set video codec, video size, bitrate, frame rate, and more presets so as to extend BD/DVD experience.

Step 4. Convert Blu-ray/DVD to H.264 MP4

Click the "Convert" button on the right bottom of the main interface to start converting Blu-ray to H.264 MP4 video. After conversion, you can transfer the converted files to your devices or players for unlimited playback.

Part Two: Stream movie to smart phones, tablets and smart TV

To get started, borrow an available video from your library. If you're using your web browser, click the Play button on your library bookshelf to start watching the video in a new browser tab. If you're using the latest version of the OverDrive app for iOS or Android, tap the Add to app button to add the streaming video to your in-app bookshelf.

Streaming video works on mobile devices and computers as long as you're using a browser with HTML5 support (such as Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Internet Explorer).

If you're not sure whether or not your device and browser are compatible, you can try the sample below to see if it works.

Note: Streaming video may consume a lot of data, so if you're on a mobile plan with a data cap, we recommend using a Wi-Fi connection when streaming on your mobile device to avoid data overages.
