"I have a small clip that I need to extract from a video I purchased on the famous iTunes store. The clip is an M4V file. But it has got DRM built in and I can't seem to bring it into Adobe Premiere Pro. Any solutions?"
Adobe Premiere Pro has native support for M4V files, but it can not deal with iTunes Store purchased or rented DRM M4V format movies, music videos, TV shows or episodes. Therefore, the workflow of iTunes M4V files with Adobe Premiere Pro would be a hassle unless the DRM protection is removed.
One good solution for you is Pavtube ChewTune (Top 10 DRM removal programs review), this program is capable of removing DRM protection from iTunes Store purchased music videos, movies, TV shows, episodes, etc and convert the non-DRM iTunes M4V files to Adobe Premiere Pro optimized editing formats for directing editing.
