Therefore, you need a reliable DVD Ripper that does exactly as you would it expect it to do, and that is to rip your DVD to a common format that will be easily playable on Windows 10 computers. There are a few decent programs out there that are able to do the same function, but how to pick out the best DVD Ripper on Windows 10 platform?
Part I. What's the must-have for a good DVD Ripper on Windows 10?
Ease of Use
A good Windows 10 DVD Ripper should be easy and intuitive for users to get started. All of the protection removing, content copying and transcoding option should be easy to find, with visible icons/buttons in common sense.
Quality of Copy
For sure the copied/transcoded file quality is more than important for a good DVD Ripper. Better to offer different quality level for users' choice.
The stability and safety is basic for any software which ensures the continuous running and operation from time to time. It should be well compatible with Windows 10.
For most users who are not expert on DVD ripping process, a top DVD Ripper on Windows 10 should integrates various presets for playback on smartphone, tablet, media server, HD player, game console, etc.
Part II. Choose the Best DVD Ripper for Windows 10
Among all the DVD rippers, freeware & paid version, that we've been worked on, Pavtube DVDAid has topped our review of the best DVD copy software in above aspects and it does so for good reason. This application reliably creates perfect 1:1 copies of DVDs and Blu-ray Discs easily and quickly. It successfully removes all known copy protections and enables you to duplicate any DVD. It also allows you to customize your backup by providing various presets ready for most common devices like iPhone/iPad/Apple TV, Samsung Galaxy series, Kindle, Surface, Xbox one, PS4, PSP, WDTV, Gear VR, etc. Surprisingly it also supports DVD to H.265/HEVC conversion in order to satisfy users who ask for high video quality.
Three reasons to choose DVDAid:
Lossless mode and various transcoding presets.
Our winner DVDAid has two modes for users: Full Disc Copy and Transcode. The former is the simplest way to copy a DVD without any quality loss, all you have to do is insert the disc you want to copy and select what content you want, and DVDAid does the rest. After about half an hour, you have an exact copy of your DVD movie. The latter is a little lossy but will save a lot of spaces, but it's still easy to follow: just 4 steps and it take you through all of the options so you can make any common formats as you want.
Fast conversion speed with CUDA acceleration.
Not only is the copy quality excellent, but it only takes roughly half an hour to copy a full-length movie. And whether you want to control every aspect of the copy process or you would rather use the default settings, DVDAid works great either way. Moreover, if you are on Windows 10 PC, Pavtube DVDAid also support CUDA acceleration with 6X faster especially on H.264 conversion. Check more details here.
Safely remove DVD protections
DVDAid can also remove the protection on modern disks (check for updates to the program as the protection on disks changes from time to time) and can create a single file containing your film as well as any extras you may want to keep.
